Rework

We provide rework services to our customers. If you get your boards built onshore or offshore and need help repairing any product issue, we can help. CCI has experience with a wide variety of PCBA and Cable rework. Here is a list of services we can provide.

Touch up, Repair or Rework

Component-level repairs.  If it is a BGA or a simple capacitator/resistor, we can help.
 

Re-programming
If you need to upgrade your firmware, we can help. CCI has many in-house programming tools to help with your rework project.
 

Re-testing
It is always a good idea to double-check your products after rework or Repair.
 

Sorting
We have you covered, from simple go-no-go testing to detailed product acceptance criteria.

Add or remove traces on PCBs (Repair)

We can modify bare boards for you or add wires if necessary.
 

Component replacement

If you have a failing component in the field, we can replace it quickly.
 

Terminology:

Repair: This involves fixing a non-conforming product to meet requirements. Unlike rework, Repair can affect or change parts of the non-conforming product.
 

Rework: This is processing, adjusting or re-doing a portion of a non-conforming product to ensure it conforms to customer and industry requirements.  
 

Touch-Up: The identification and elimination of defects in a product.
